Pixie Cottage Challenge #22 - Father's Day Theme

Thank you for check my 2nd pre-scheduled post today. For those of you who is not here earlier, sorry, but I am on holiday this week but I am making sure that I prepared my blog posts for you and hope you don't mind this.

Yes, it's the Pixie Cottage Challenge #22 already. Father's Day is coming up soon, so this week's challenge is to challenge you to create a project using the "Father's Day theme".

I am using this card for the following challenges:
One Stitch at a time challenge #16 - Boys to men
The Shabby Tea Room week #13 - Just for Dad
SD #19 - Just 4 you dad
Sir Stampalot June Challenge - Punch it
Cards for Men - Father's Day
Always Playing with Paper #1 - Father's Day or a Masculine theme
Wee Memories #9 - Punch It
AiFactory Challenge #38 - Anything goes with a punch

My card today is a Father's Day card using the "Down on the Farm" stamp from The Pixie Cottage Stamps. Here is my finished card. I think many of you who reads my blog knows that I am not very good at making boys/men theme cards, but I think this image can be great to use for a Father's Day card to give. Since this is in a men theme, I tried not to use any girly embellies.

Here is a closer view on this sweet image.

Thanks so much for stopping by and don't forget to check the Pixie Cottage Challenge Blog and join us for fun :o)

This is such a lovely card - not girly at all! I love how you also decorated the inside of the card. Brilliant!

Cabio
this is the cutest card! I love the detailing of the polka dot ribbon, they really remind me of a man's braces! and match the vertical detailing in the fence. You balanced that so well with the horizontal stripe in the middle. The card really made me smile. The way you finished up the card on the inside is amazing. Fabulous card.
Thank you so much for joining the Paper Players on our inaugural challenge.

Wonderful card. Love the little 'DAD' butons on the front. The inside is so precise - I could never match up those stripes like that.

Good luck with the challenge over on Cards for Men.
