Instyle Stamp - Chickie card for challenges

Good morning to you all. Today I am posting a card using a digital image called "Chickie" from Instyle.
I am using this card for Allsorts Challenge #38 - Get Distressing with Buttons and a bow (distress edges, buttons & ribbon bow flower)

Here is my finished card. I distressed the edges of these MME DP, then added a lace around the edge frame. Then made a big bow flower using some ribbon to put on the side for this little chickie to hide for shading, lol

Here is a closer view for this cute Chickie.

Here is a side view to show you the dimension.

View of the inside. I cute a little flower off from the background DP and adhered for the corner on this writing space.

That's all I have to share for you today. Once again, thank yo so much for stopping by and hope to see you again tomorrow for another challenge :o)

Michelle Perkett Color Challenge + Other challenges

Happy Tuesday and welcome to the Michelle's Inspiration and Design Challenge this week. Today is a color challenge and we would like to see you using lots of "BLUES & GREENS". (other than skin & hair colors) So come over to the challenge blog and join us to have fun!! The winner will receive a $10 shopping spree at Michelle's Etsy shop.

This card is also used to enter the following challenges:
Eat, Sleep, Stamp Sketch #69 - sketch
Belli Challenge #84 - Ribbon

This time, I picked Michelle's "Spring" image for this challenge. Originally, she had no flower on her hair. The reasons why she had flowers put on her hair was because when I just about to color her, my black Copic Marker just suddenly bleed and dropped a big ink spot on that part of her hair, sniff sniff.... (my eyeballs almost dropped down on the ground). Luckily, the flower is big enough to cover it up :op

Here is the closer view on the image (with the black spot hid under the flower)

Thanks so much for coming by and hope to see you again soon :o)

Michelle Perkett Love Letter Blog Hop

Welcome to the Michelle Perkett's Love Letter Blog Hop. We will be celebrating Valentines day by writing a special love letter to the love of our lives! It can be your husband, boyfriend, mother, sister, daughter or son, or a loved one who is no longer with us. If you are coming from Lee's blog, you are in the right path. Otherwise, please go and start from Michelle's blog.

My love letter is to my family who I love very much.
Dear Family: (this includes my husband, daughter, my parents and all my sisters & their families)
First of all, I never thought writing a love letter would be THAT tough until I have to think what I should say. I think I am so very thankful to be part of the family. We had some good times and of course also difficult times too during the past. Through out my life so far, I have never lack of help or support from any of you.
Whenever I go through some bumpy roads, there are always some of you around to help or go through them with me.
Whenever I need someone to lend an ear, there are always many pairs of ears available around me.
Whenever I am in the darkness, you always find me a flash light.
Whenever I get lost, you always come by and lead me to the right path.
Whenever I have a bad day, you always cheer me up.
Yes, I am so thankful to have all of you around me and always will cherish all those beautiful memories you all help to make. Thank you to you all :o)

Here is a card I made for this blog hop using one of Michelle's wonderful images. She especially created this image for this blog hop. The theme is to have lots of red, pink & gold. Well this is my finished card!

Here is my finished card with a new release image called "Jungle Monkey". Did you see the background monkey DP? I got this RAK DP from my sweet niece - Vivian. She got this and many other cute animals DP for me many many years ago. I didn't want to use unless I got the right stamps for them, so I've saved these DPs for I think at least 4 or 5 years until now :o)

YNS Challenge #9 - Project with a charm

It's only mid week? Sigh..... I can't wait for the weekend to come. Looking forward for more time to do more projects. Unlike working, I never get tired doing paper craft, lol!

Today is a card I made for the Your Next Stamps (YNS) Challenge #9. It's our talented Scarlet Maureen's turn to host and she would like to challenge you to use a charm for a project. I made a card using Cupcake Cutie Fhiona. She is a cutie! I made this birthday cake and found a "Growing Up" charm from K & Co. to add for this card.

Here ia a closer view on Fhiona
