Pink Ribbon Tilda Valentine's Card

Good morning everyone and happy weekend!!  It's been a crazy week for me this past week both in my full time work and craftwork.  I am so glad now is the weekend and the best thing is I am off for a week this coming week.  Now I can relax and taking my time to type up this post, lol.

Oh, before sharing my card today, I also wanted to mention about the Wee Stamps Collection is now avaliable at Magnolia-licious.  Aren't they adorable?  They are now 10% off over at the store, so I can't wait to ink them up once I received them.

I've been busy trying to handmade some flowers lately and today I am posting a card using some of these flowers I made.  First what I did was to color this Pink Ribbon Tilda stamp of the Magnolia Love Collection.  I am able to pull the Magnolia Paper to match with the colored image.  I then made some flowers to coordinate this card.  Since Valentine is next week, so I added the 'be mine' letters cut by the Memory Box Parker lower alphbet set to create this Valentine's Day card.

 Here is my finished card.

I am using this card for the following challenges:
Simply Create Too Challenge #30 - Valentine's Day or Hearts
Daring Cardmakers Challenge - Love is in the air
Inspire Me Fridays 95 - Anything Goes
Deep Ocean Challenge #44 - Love and lace
Cards and More #75 - Valentine's Day

Magnolia Love Collection 2012 Valentine's Candy Book Box

Good evening eveyone and hope you are having a nice weekend.  Today I am posting a project that I worked on for a few days. and it is a Valentine's Book Box.  When I saw the candy book box tutorial over at the Scor-Pal's Blog HERE, I just love it and decided to try one.  However, I wanted to do a smaller box, therefore, wth the same concept of that tutorial, I made mine an inch smaller.  The handmade paper flowers you see on this box are made with the Magnolia Pattern Paper and the Cheery Lynn Cherry Blossom Die.  The large flower has 2 large and 2 small petals.  The small flower has 3 small petals. I sponged some distressing ink on each petals before layering them, then added a pearl in the centre.  Please scroll down to the bottom of this post for the list of material for this project.

I am using the project for the follwoing challenges:
My Time to Craft Challenge 206 - Things with Wings
One Stop Craft Challenge 213 - Sparkle and Bling
Inspire Me Friday 93 - Anything Goes
C.R.A.F.T. Challenge 191 - Valentines Day or Love
Charisma Cardz Challenge 3 - Hearts & Flowers
Craft Us Crazy Challenge 35 - Celebrate Love or are you seeing the color red
Crafty Ribbons Challenge 37 - Love/Romance/Anniversary
Midweek Magnolias Week 45 - Anything Goes

Here is my finished box.  Since I was able to colored more Love Collection 2013 stamps from Magnolia-licious, I used a few for this project.  On this box cover, I used Tilda with Heart Arrows

Here is a closer view of these handmade flowers.  I love this Magnolia Paper and the Cheery Lynn Cherry Blossom Die.  Very easy to make flowers.

Magnolia Christmas and Valentine's Blog Hop Projects

Good morning everyone. It is time for the Magnolia-licious September Blog Hop. If you are coming from the amazing RUBY'S BLOG , you are in the right track. If not, please go back to the Magnolia-licious Highlites Blog to start this blog hop. This month's blog hop is 2 for 1 holiday - Take a holiday stamp create something with it and then re-invent it in some way for another occasion or event as well!.
I created a card and an altered house shape box using from Tilda with Snow Heart of the 2011 Sweet X'mas Dreams Collection from Magnolia-licious.

This is a reminder to let you know that after this hop, the next stop is over at my awesome buddy ANGELA'S BLOG. Be sure to see how wonderful Angela's creation is for more inspiration!!

Here are the finished projects, please scroll down for the additional pictures on these projects.

Here is the 1ST project:
It is a 'Valentine's' card. I also use a Magnolia Sentiment stamp for this card. I bought the lace trim wrapped around the oval frame from Hong Kong.

Closer view of these stamps.

Here is the 2ND project:

I bought this 'house shape box' from Michael's decorated it with MME pattern paper. The window is cute from the PS small Madison Window. Because the box is a bit too small for the window, so I trimmed the side to fit better inside this house.

Now I have an extra box to store my lace trim :o)

Back view of this box. I stamped the Magnolia Christmas sentiment on a piece of vellum, then added the MB Musical Interlude and MB Treble Clef dies to fill up the empty back space.

That's all I have to share with you today. Thank you so much for stopping by and hope you get a chance to join us for the hop and the challenge :o)

Flower Girl Tilda Spreading Love Petals Card and some updates

Good morning everyone. Before my card post, some of you might know that I was off for a three weeks long vacation beginning of this month. I think it's time for me to share some pictures. During these three weeks, My husband and I visited Hong Kong where I was born, then we spent most of our time visting Osaka of Japan and Bangkok of Thailand.

Here is a picture we took in one of the restaurants in Stanley of Hong Kong. You might noticed I didn't were my glasses, because my glasses frame was broken that morning. Luckily I brought a couple pairs of disposal contact lenses with me.

Here are the pictures I took in Japan. Holy moly, it was 35 degree that day and I was just about to melt, lol. See the temple on the bottom picture? It is the Temple of the Golden Pavilion that the top two stories are covered with pure gold left. It is so pretty.

It looks just as beautiful in real life as in this picture.

Here are a couple shots taken in Bangkok Thailand. One of the days in downtown Bangkok, it happened that the Olympic Champions Buses were strolling around the road. The traffic was so busy and there was a huge crowd everywhere there.

We had such a wonderful time and hopefully we can go back to visit again soon. Ok, onto my card sharing today:

I know Valentine's day is over, but I couldn't resist to do a card without a heart. I love this Flower Girl with Petals stamp I bought from Magnolia-licious. Well there is the Mini Flower Girl with Petals that you can get too. I think it will also be cute to use for making fabulous mini party invitation cards.

Here is my finished card

Closer view of this image and I applied some Stickle to highlight the petals.
