Michelle Perkett - Z fold card

Happy New Year's Eve to you and thank you for stopping by today!

Last night, I finished a card using an image illustrated by Michelle Perkett. This digital image is called "Autumn". This card is made for PCP Michelle Perkett's group Challenge #10 which require a card with a special fold. I did this card using the Z fold.

This Z fold card base measurement:
card base: 4.25" x 11". Score at 2 3/4, and 5 1/2".

Here is my finished card. I added a little ribbon for tying the card close.

Here is a closer view on the image. I colored it with my Copic markers.

Fhiona's Wedding Day card for a few challenges

Good morning. Are you all ready for the New Year yet? Only a few more cards to be done, then I will be ready. Isn't tomorrow already New Year?! Oops, I better hurry....

Today I am posting a card I made using the MMSC34 sketch for a few challenges. They are:

Midnight Madness Sketch Challenge #34 - Sketch
My Time to Craft Challenge #72 - Anything goes
Charisma Cardz week #50 - Anything but Christmas (this will be mine 2nd entry)

I altered a little and switch the triangle corners to the other sides. Why, simply because I finished the card and realized I put them on the wrong corners, lol! Altered them are my excuse :op

Here is my finished card. The stamp set I used is called "Fhiona's Wedding Day" from YNS. I used the Spellbinder oval die to cut out a frame, wrapped it with black & gold ribbon and applied Flowersoft all over the frame.

Closer view on the image. I layered Fhiona and added some Flowersoft on her bouquet, stickle on her crown, earrings and dotted a little on her dress.

Pixie Dust Studio - Love Birds

Hello to you all and hope you all are having a good day so far. Today's card is a card I made a while ago using an image from the Love Letter Collection of Pixie Dust Studio. This image is called "Love Birds". This is one of the cute images Kathy illustrated, please check out her blog for more updates.

Here is the finished card: I used a crochet flower and attached a heart brad on top. The lower flowers are mixed of felt (from Jolee's embellishment) and silk roses.

Stamped Tile Coasters

Happy Monday everyone. We have a very dry and clear sky today. How nice!

Today I am just going to do a quick post to show you some stamp tile coasters that I made to give to some of my co-workers for Christmas. What I did was I stamped my image and sentiment with the StazOn ink, then colored them with chalk, added some stickles. When they dried, I just brushed a layer of Diamond Glaze on them.

Quite simple to do and here they are!

Closer view, can you see the glittery snow???

I rubbed a layer of blue chalk on this one before applying the glaze.

You might be able to see the shiny glaze on this pic.

Okay, sorry for the short post today, but I have tons of unfinished projects and they are calling me to get them done. Will see you all again soon :o)

Edwin & Tilda engagement easel hidden drawer card

Good morning everyone! Hope you all had a wonderful Christmas. Wish you all a happy new year too.

Today I am posting this card I made for a sweet friend of mine who just engaged. Happy Engagement Deborah & Calvin!!!! AND thank you for the fabulous party with so much yummy food yesterday. It was nice that you even gave us presents. We love them so much and Jasmine wanted me to let you know she especially loves the cool paper weight :o)

I have to admire this sweet friend's place. It's a treat for the eye with all the efforts & dedication she put up with the gorgeous Christmas makeover at her place :o)

First I finished a card for them, but then since I bought them both a gift card as their gift, so I wanted to make a box to put the gift cards in. I attached the box I made under the original card to turn it into the pull out drawer card. It actually took me a long time just to add this box which I wasn't expected. It was because I didn't have a template for the size. I just created it along under the original 5 1/2 x 5 1/2 card.

Here is the card with the added box.

Here is the drawer for tucking the gift cards

(This was the original card I did first) Again I used two images from the Magnolia Winter Kit from Sweden to complete this card. I also bought these two sentiment stamps for the love theme of this card.

Closer view on the images (the heart they sit on was also one of the images from the kit, I just cut colored two of them with Copic and cut them out for the images to sit on)

Closer view to show you the Prima flowers and the pretty lace trim I bought from a local stamps store.

That's all I have for you today and hope you like it :o)

Well done ladies!!!

OUR WEEKLY BONUS SPONSOR FOR MMSC33 IS.....
Priscilla of "Priscillastyles"
Priscilla will be providing a stamp set to one lucky winner

Here is the sketch for this week's challenge (MMSC33)

I am using this card for more challenges and they are:

Cupcake Craft Challenge #71 - A time for celebration
Winter Wonderland #30 - Happy New Year
Quixotic Challenge #7 - Lace
Charisma Cardz #50 - Anything but Christmas
Paper Cutz Challenge #22 - New Year

Here is my finished card. I used a Tilda I got from the Magnolia Winter Kit of Sweden. I just couldn't wait to make anything using this kit when I received it, and this is my first creation of the kit. Firework is always on my mind for New Year and therefore, I choose a silvery DP and also used gold for shimmering. I picked some white scallop lace and adhered it on each edge of the cardstock and added some white flower lace trim in the middle.

Closer view on this pretty Tilda.

Champagne is needed to celebrate the New Year!! These images of bottle & glasses are also from the Magnolia Winter Kit.

I added stickle on the Prima flower to match the Gold & Silver for this new year theme card

Side view for the dimension of this card

Inside view. I couldn't believe I can't find any "Happy New Year" stamp around my craftroom, so instead, I wrote my own sentiment with a silver marker :o)

Thanks for stopping by and I also have another easel card I made using two other Magnolia images for a friend's engagement, but it will not be posted until I give it to her next week. See you soon.
