Happy Father's Day Pilot Edwin Cake Card

Happy Father's Day to all the fathers!! Hope you all are having a fun and happy Father's Day. My father is in a nursing home. Since my USA sisters are here joining all my local sibling together, we will be going to my dad's nursing home to bring him special lunch. As this past week I have all my sisters here for a visit, I really didn't have much time doing anything in my craftroom. However, we do enjoy the company. Then I thought, well...Father's Day, I really wanted to do a Father's Day card to post. I actually colored this image and did the cake card base earlier and finally just quickly assembled it together. Because of my lack of time, I really didn't do much details but rather leave it simple. This card is made with Pilot Edwin of the 2010 Bon Voyage Collection I bought from Magnolia-licious a while ago. The Father's Day sentiment is from Stampin Up.

Tropical Hawaiian Wedding Cake Card

Good morning!! Remember I made the book card for my friend who had a wedding in Hawaii earlier? Well, I also made her this Hawaii theme cake card which I gave her at the same time too, but forgot to post. I just love these TGF stamps, Hula Anya and Surfer Ian. They are just perfect stamps for this Hawaiian theme card.

Here is a closer view of the card. I bend the red & white wires into heart shapes and used them as the cake top and added some hand curled red foils from a garland embellishment I got from Valentine's Day time as extra decoration around the hearts.

Airbrushed Background Summer Night for Beautiful Tilda

Good morning everyone. I hope you can get a chance to play the coloring challenge of pink over at Magnolia-licious Challenge.
Well, I did another Tilda card to post for today. For some reason, I wanted to play with the airbrush with Copics although I had no idea what to use it for. After some thinking, I decided to just spray a background to be used on this card. I took some photo paper, covered a circle, then sprayed a darker background, then took out the BEAUTIFUL TILDA stamp and used it with some bright colors to spray as I wanted it to stand out from that dark background.

Mini Tilda's Easel Drawer + Card Set

Hello everyone and welcome to the new Magnolia-licious Challenge. Yes, it's color challenge this time and our host for this challenge is the creative DT member PAOLA. She would like to use the color PINK for this challenge and pink is my favorite color. How fun :o)

Magnolia Tingla with Bunny Slippers birthday shape card

Hello everyone~ What a busy week I am going through so far. After came back from my Copic class, then there are the Stanley Cup playoff, then Official Magnolia Inspiration Challenge that I very much wanted to participate while there were hundreds of emails still sitting in my inbox waiting to be read. Well, hopefully I can get everything caught up by end of this week.

I stayed up pretty late, well early last night, just because I wanted to be able to get this birthday card finished on time for the TOMIC. I colored this Tingla with Bunny Slippers from Magnolia-licious using Prismacolor Pencils on watercolor paper. Isn't she an adorable stamp?!

This shape card was cut with the Marianne Design Circle Frame. Because I only used 1 DP, I used quite a bit of embellishments to fill up all the spaces. I used pom pom, mini roses, rhinestone flowers, lace trim, little mini bows, doily, gem and pearl flourishes, stickles and buttons, etc. LOL, I sure do having fun filling with all those spaces.

Here is the back of this card, so you can see how I closed the inner lace trim on the back. I just simply started the lace trim from the back of the middle top. After wrapped around through the holes of the frame, tied them together when both ends met in the middle.

My Copic Certification Class

Good morning everyone and happy Sunday. I had a very busy weekend. My husband drove me all the way to Kelowna which is about 1 1/2 hours ferry ride + 5 hours drive. It's a long way, but I always wanted to take the Copic class, so I did. I was worried I needed to cancel it due to my dad's illness. Luckily he got better and phew I was able to go.

During this class, I met some wonderful fellow Copic lovers. I am grateful to meet some familiar people. Here is MADGE from Magnolia-licious Yahoo Group. Madge, it's a great pleasure get to meet you in person after seeing many of your wonderful Tilda & Edwin creations :o)

I also met PEGGY who happened to be from the current Your Next Stamp DTs which was a DT I used to belong. So glad to meet you Peggy and how wonderful to meet someone in the same wonderful DT :o)

And of course, I have to show you our wonderful instructor SHERRIE. Thank you Sherrie for an awesome class. I brought home full of Copic information and some new techniques with me. I sure will keep practicing and hope to color as well as you someday :o)

Tilda & Edwin Book Box Wedding Card for my friend

Good morning and happy weekend everyone. Just wanted to update to you that my dad is out of the hospital and is back to his nursing home. A great thing for him and our family. Thank you for all of your emails and prayers :o)

Today I prepared this book box card photo display for a friend of mine who recently had her wedding in Hawaii. Congratulations to D & C!! I delivered this for her, so I think now it'll be a good time to post this. I wanted to make a personalize wedding project using her photo(s), but just couldn't think of any idea. The other day, I received my flowers and embellishment orders from Wild Orchard Craft, so I thought maybe I can add a little flower arrangement on my project, so I decided to do this book box with lots of embellishments.

This box is made with Bride Tilda and Groom Edwin from Magnolia-licious. There are many more wedding them stamps from the Wedding Collections 2010 that you can use to replace the stamps, so if you are planning to do a wedding theme book box, be sure to check them out at the store's website.
