An Altered Creation for my friend's Flower Shop

Today I am posting another paper cart project. I've made this a while ago, but just never get a chance to post. This is a flower card that I made for my friend who owns a flower shop. This is an item that she can put it in her shop for display. It's a flower cart with an image from C.C. Design. If you didn't see my previous post, once again, you can find the tutorial/instuction of this card from Scor-Pal's website. I found the instruction is pretty easy to follow and it's not as hard as you though.

Pixie Dust Studio - Challenge #1 DT card + other challenges

Happy Thursday. Wow, I just realize that I've been posting a lot lately. It's a good sign, but also means that I spent so much time in my craftroom besides my full time job and my family.

Today's card is a DT card I made for the first Pixie Challenge. For this first challenge, Kathy is kind enough to offer a freebie digital image. You can download this freebie digi to creation a project/card for this challenge. The only require is to add texture. Sounds pretty simple right, so don't wait now and go get this freebie image to join us for the fun.

You can get this freebie from the challenge blog:

Prize for this Pixie Challenge #1 winner will be a complete set of Christmas Confetti Collection (see below)

This card is also for the following challenges:
CLP #10 - Sketch

here is the CLP #10 sketch

Secret Crafter Saturday Challenge #58 - Four Season (Winter)

Christmas Cheer PPA16 - Christmas Cheer

Sparkle Creations Challenge Week #50 - Christmas Card

Winter Wonderland Week #25 - St. Nicholas

This is my finished card. Once again, I combined the Jolee's embellishment with my image. Since the requirment of the Pixie Challenge is to add texture, I embossed the green DP and rubbed them with red chalk. Also I added some cotton on Santa's suit just to add a bit more dimension and texture on this card.

Here is a closer view on Santa's coloring and his fluffy suit!

A little close up on the silver cord treatment and the sentiment.

Closer view on the Jolee's embellishment.

Another Jolee's embellie, but I've added some pine branch from using the MS punch.

Side view to show you the dimension.

Inside view and I added another Jolee's embellie and this is the wreath!

YNS - Challenge #4 DT card + other challenges

Hello to you all. Before I post my card, I wanted to say HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU EDDY. (Today is my hubby's birthday) and he is officially 1 year older! Ok......enough now~

Welcome to the Your Next Stamp Challnge #4. This time is our talented Starlet "Stephanie" to host this week's challenge. Stephanie would like the theme "BE THANKFUL" and to create a card for someone you are thankful for.

Rule - to allow any stamp image. However, if your creation contains a "YNS" image, you grant one extra entry for the random winner draw. The prize for this challenge is $10 in YNS bucks.
If you already bought the set of 6 winter digis, Karen (owner of YNS) will give you $3.00 in YNS buck just to play the challenge. She will personalize a coupon code by email for you to use at the store.

One more thing: All the participant to join the YNS Challenge #4 this time will get one YNS limited digi.

For this DT card I made, I also use it for a few challenges:

Charisma Cardz Challenge #45 - Merry & Bright

I{heart}2stamp Challenge YNS sketch - Sketch

Allsorts Week #27 - entry to be made for a child, could be a card, gift, note book anything you like.

Crafty Creations Challenge #41- Snowy creations

Here is my finished project. I made a card using the YNS stamp set called "Skating Fun Fhiona", a gift tag match box and a box for some smarties. I've added some Flowersoft on the little skatching ring for Fhiona to skate. I am sure my daughter would love this gift set :o)

Here is a close view for the card.

Closer view on her coloring

I also used the birdie stamp that comes with the same stamp set for the embellishment add on.

Because I wanted to make that as a thank you card, so I got the sentiment from my random stamps drawer.

Here is a little goodie box. I used a circle punch to punch a hole from the box and used StazOn to stamp the birdie image on an acetate sheet, then adhered it to cover the empty circle.

Another view on this box.

This is the match box I made to contain the gift tags.

I made some gift tags with the same image to match up the whole set.

Stamp: YNS Skating Fun Fhiona
Sentiment: Stampin Up
Ink: Copic, StazOn, Stampin Up
Cardkstock Stampin Up
DP: All My Memories
Accessories: ribbon, acetate sheet, punches, Sizzix box & match box die cutters

Thanks for stopping by today and will see you again tomorrow for another DT card!
