YNS Matilda From Australia You're My Pal Card

Good morning everyone. Today is the last Friday of this month and it is also my last YNS GDT post for May. I just love the World Kids Collection from Your Next Stamp. Therefore, the stamp I prepared for this post was from the World Kids Collection. It is the cute Matilda from Australia. Isn't she a darling image?!

Here is the finished card. The clouds were cut from one of the DPs from Echo Park. However, you should check out this Puffy Cloud Die Set from YNS that would be a great tool for embellishments. YNS Splash Summer Mermaids Scrapbook Page

Good Morning!! Time flies and it's already the 3rd YNS project for the month. This time, instead of a card, I made a mini scrapbook page layout just for a change. My daughter loves mermaid when she was little. I think this will be a layout I would use with one of her younger picture and frame it in a shadow box. When I first noticed Your Next Stamp, it was when I saw the darling mermaid banner over at Splitcoaststamps. I couldn't resist not to use these mermaids again

Here is the slot for picture insert. I am going to pick a picture of my daughter when she was little and trim it to the size of the insert card and slide it in to the slot.

YNS Fun Friday - creating a colorful border

Good morning everyone. Today is the second Your Next Stamp card post to share with you this month. Check out the YNS Fun Friday post here to see more fun creations there. Since the weather is getting better and better everyday, I feel like making a colorful project. Not long ago, I bought a Small Post Card Stamp set. The even better thing is YNS also have the matching Small Post Card Die Set for this stamp set. Of course if you get this Combo Set together, it will be cheaper too!!

Here is my finished card. I picked one of the bright and colorful DP. How about a fun border for this card? To create a colorful border, what I did was, to use a border punch to punch out matching color cardstocks in different width, then line them up and put them on the side edge to create a multi-coloring border.

Closer view of these stamps. I colored the stamps, then punched them out with the matching dies, then I also punched one more time on another piece. Put them together in between a foam dot/tape to make them pop up a little to create a dimension effect.

On this card, I colored her using Copics and shaded it after with Prismacolor Pencils. The other project is an altered mini box. I think Kichiro From Japan is a great combo with Miyuki, so I picked Kichiro to use for this altered box. Please scroll down for additional pictures on these project.
