This is a reminder to let you know that after this hop, the next stop is over at the awesome handmade flowers expert PATTI JO. Be sure to see how wonderful PATTI JO creation is for more inspiration!!

First post of 2013 with a Tilda with Striped Tights Card

Good morning and Happy New Year everyone.  Today is my very first post in 2013 and I wish you all are havaing a great start!  It is the first Magnolia-licious Highlites Challenge and it is hosted by another talented DT member Cheryl.  She is giving a very easy theme and it is 'ANYTHING GOES'.  Isn't it great and for those of you Magnolia fans there, all you have to do is to grab one of your stamps and create a project to join us.  On my card today, I picked one of my older stamps Tilda with Striped Tights of the Pink Collection from Magnolia-licious.  Funny thing is I have this stamp for a while, but just noticed that I have not even used her once. Well, one of my New Year Resolution is to use up some of the stamps that I haven't used, lol.

Here is my finished card

I am also using this card for the following challenges:

Magnolia Tilda's Hidden Message Gift Box

Good morning everyone!  Hope you all had a fun Halloween and got lots of treats yesterda.  Yest now is November and it's time for another Magnolia-licious Highlites Challenge.  This month's challenge is hosted by our telanted teammate NORMA. She picked the "Something Hidden" for this challenge which means to creat a project with something hidden (ex. slide tag, pop up, etc)

For joining us the Magnolia-licious Highlites Challenge, you can be one lucky winner to win special surprise from Magnolia-Licious Store.

Here is my project and it is a hidden message drawer box.  When the drawer is pulled open, a hidden message will pop on top (see picture below for the message).  This Tilda image is Tilda with a Lovely Jam from the 2012 Turning Leave Collection.   When I took this picture, I walk around the house and not sure what I should put inside this drawer, I came across the pantry and found some instant oatmeal which I think it would go along with this image, so I tucked it into the box.

I am also using this project for the following challenges:
The Craft Place Challenge - Tic Tac Toe (Sentiment, Lace, Ribbon)
Robyn's Fetish Challenge #131 - Use an emossing folder
Simon Says Stamp & Show - Just add Pearl
Lady Anne's Challenge - Anything Goes
Make it Monday #131 - Anything Goes
Victorine Original Challenge #46 - Bingo (Emboss'n, Coloring, Brad/Pearls)

Think Pink Cupcake Box Mini Card and a Cake Topper

Good morning everyone. It is time for the Magnolia-licious October Blog Hop. If you are coming from the amazing ANGELA'S BLOG , you are in the right track. If not, please go back to the Magnolia-licious Highlites Blog to start this blog hop. This month's blog hop is  Think Pink Treats.

Breast Cancer Awareness Month (October) is an annual international health campaign organized by major companies every October to increase awareness of the disease and to raise funds for research into its cause, prevention, diagnosis, treatment and cure. The campaign also offers information and support to those affected by breast cancer. The Pink Ribbon symbol was used in 1993 by Evelyn Lauder as the symbol of The Breast Cancer Research Fund she founded and is used to symbolize the fight against the disease. We also honor those that have fought the battle and who are currently fighting the battle while raising awareness to ALL women to be aware of the symptoms and to be proactive against the disease. Want to find out more? The National Breast Cancer Foundation HERE for those in the US and globally at the PinkRibbon.org site HERE!
  • In 2011 Nearly 1.5 million women across the world were told they had breast cancer
  • One-third of breast cancer deaths can be decreased with early detection and treatment
  • In the US 1 out of 8 women will be diagnosed with breast cancer over their lifetime, an estimated 527 women are diagnosed in the US with breast cancer each day
The Magnolia-licious DT wants to help promote awareness/early detection and share what this Think Pink Month is about with ALL women! We also want to honor all of those women that have or are currently fighting this disease and show our support in the fight!! To show our support the DT has planned our own “Think Pink” Celebration and we hope you can all join in. Each DT gal has created some Sweet-PINK treats and PINK Packaging to match using those beautiful Magnolia images. You can find some Magnolia stamps that were created specifically for Pink Ribbon Awareness at Magnolia-licious HERE. So have fun hopping along to see all the fabulous Pink-a-licious Creations and make sure to stop back by the Magnolia-licious Highlites Blog to join in on the fun too!

This is a reminder to let you know that after this hop, the next stop is over at the awesome coloring queen MARY'S BLOG. Be sure to see how wonderful MARY'S creation is for more inspiration!!
