Magnolia Tilda with Hellebores Sweet Wonderful You card

Hi everyone, it's been a while from my last post.  I was a little busy with visitors for the past weeks and didn't get a chance to do much craftwork.  Today I am showing you a card I made a while ago, but never get a chance to post it.  Do you like the Tilda with Hellebores of the Sweet Christmas Dream 2011 Collection from Magnolia-licious? I think she is so sweet, so I wanted to create a card using this sweet stamp. My card today also used the 'Sweet Wonderful You' sentiment by Magnolia as well. I did a little check on my shelf the other day and found quite a few Magnolia Paper Packs pattern paper that I haven't use yet. Without a thought, I just picked some to use for today's card.
Here is my finished card

I am also using this card for the following challenges:
C.R.A.F.T. Challenge 178 - Recipe (1 image, 2 DP, 2 flowers & 1 sentiment)
Paper Play Challenge 12 - Week 43 - Butterflies & Bees
DYSU#95 - Embossing Wet or dry
Challenge 4 Everyone  Challenge #5 - Anything Goes
Make It Monday #112  - Anything Goes
One Stop Craft Challenge 201 - Anything Goes
Lady Anne's Challenge - Anything Goes

Think Pink Cupcake Box Mini Card and a Cake Topper

Good morning everyone. It is time for the Magnolia-licious October Blog Hop. If you are coming from the amazing ANGELA'S BLOG , you are in the right track. If not, please go back to the Magnolia-licious Highlites Blog to start this blog hop. This month's blog hop is  Think Pink Treats.

Breast Cancer Awareness Month (October) is an annual international health campaign organized by major companies every October to increase awareness of the disease and to raise funds for research into its cause, prevention, diagnosis, treatment and cure. The campaign also offers information and support to those affected by breast cancer. The Pink Ribbon symbol was used in 1993 by Evelyn Lauder as the symbol of The Breast Cancer Research Fund she founded and is used to symbolize the fight against the disease. We also honor those that have fought the battle and who are currently fighting the battle while raising awareness to ALL women to be aware of the symptoms and to be proactive against the disease. Want to find out more? The National Breast Cancer Foundation HERE for those in the US and globally at the PinkRibbon.org site HERE!
  • In 2011 Nearly 1.5 million women across the world were told they had breast cancer
  • One-third of breast cancer deaths can be decreased with early detection and treatment
  • In the US 1 out of 8 women will be diagnosed with breast cancer over their lifetime, an estimated 527 women are diagnosed in the US with breast cancer each day
The Magnolia-licious DT wants to help promote awareness/early detection and share what this Think Pink Month is about with ALL women! We also want to honor all of those women that have or are currently fighting this disease and show our support in the fight!! To show our support the DT has planned our own “Think Pink” Celebration and we hope you can all join in. Each DT gal has created some Sweet-PINK treats and PINK Packaging to match using those beautiful Magnolia images. You can find some Magnolia stamps that were created specifically for Pink Ribbon Awareness at Magnolia-licious HERE. So have fun hopping along to see all the fabulous Pink-a-licious Creations and make sure to stop back by the Magnolia-licious Highlites Blog to join in on the fun too!

This is a reminder to let you know that after this hop, the next stop is over at the awesome coloring queen MARY'S BLOG. Be sure to see how wonderful MARY'S creation is for more inspiration!!

Some Odd Girl Friendship DT card for Oozak Challenge

Good morning everybody.  Today I am sharing with you a DT card I prepared for the October's Oozak Challenge.  This month's challenge is to challenge the participant to create a project using die cuts.  For my card, I picked the NouveauGirls Royal from Some Odd Girl and the sentiment is from Gifty Gwen.  There are lots of fabulous dies, but this time I picked the Spellbinder Dies and Poppy Stamp Metal Craft Dies.  I embossed the Carta Bella's pattern paper using one of Cuttlebug embossing folders and brushed some gold Distress Crackle Paint on top and use the Distress Pad to ink around the edges of each piece of paper.  See the beautiful Prima flower as well as the pink & yellow little flowers from Wild Orchid Crafts.

Here is my finished project.  I stamped this image on the Copic x-Press It paper and colored it with Copic Markers.

I am also using this card for the following challenges:
Paper Play Challenge #12 - Flowers and Lace
For Fun Challenge - Use a stamp
Crafts and Me Challenge #103 - Favorite Color - Pink
