Fhiona DT card for YNS challenge + other challenges

Good morning everyone! Welcome to the Your Next Stamp Challenge #8. This time, it is hosted by YNS's owner, Karen who has chosen the theme for this challenge, and she is challenging everyone to make a card or creation that includes anything that SPARKES!! (i.e. use of Stickles, Glitter pens, Glitters, Rhinstones, etc)

As always, we have 2 fabulous prizes for you to win:
1. Winner – one lucky winner, chosen by random.org, will win $10 in YNS Stamp Bucks (to spend on YNS stamps) and the Winner Blinkie to proudly display on their blog!

2. Top Pick – one lucky entry, chosen by Karen, will win $5 in YNS Stamp Bucks (to spend on YNS stamps) and the Top Pick Blinkie to proudly display on their blog! NB You must use a YNS stamp on your creation to be eligible to win the Top Pick prize.

We’d love to see you use a YNS stamp on your challenge card/creation, but if you don’t have one, you can still join in and be entered into the prize draw! This is a bi-weekly challenge, so you have plenty of time to prepare your card. Remeber, if you use a YNS stamp on your challenge card/creation, you’ll be entered into the prize draw TWICE and be entered into the Top Pick draw – that’s 3 chances to win!

In addition of the YNS Challenge, I am also using this card for other challenges as well. They are:

Friday Sketcher#85 - Sketch
A Spoon Full of Sugar #87 - Lots of layering

Here is my finished DT card with lots of stickles & glitters to make this bling bling Fitness Fhiona.

I haven't been using glitters for a while and mess was what I have left on my counter after, lol. But I got a pretty shimmery arm though :o) Here is a closer view on this cute little Fhiona. I also used some pink liquid pearl on her flower & shoes.

Here is a better shot to show those bling bling glittery here!

Michelle Perkett Challenge DT card + other challenges

I am so excited to share you my excited news that I was invited to join Michelle Perkett's DT team and today I am posting my very first DT card for Michelle's challenge blog.

The challenge is to find a print from Michelle's Etsy Store that inspires you (whether it is with color or sentiment or design), then create a project around that inspiration piece.

I used the sketch from Quixotic Challenge #9 for the platform of my card.

Here is the print I got my colors inspirations from one of Michelle's Daydream prints for the card this time.

Using the color scheme from the print above, here is my finished card. The image of this card is called "Butterfly Fairy". I tried to stay the purple & green color for the image and added yellow for the contrast.

Closer view of this Butterfly Fairy. Colored with Copic markers and added some stickle on her wings. I think fairy should be a bit sparkle.

I punched out a strip using my MS punch and then folded some pleats.

MMSC36 and more challenges - Michelle Perkett's digital image

What a busy week I have so far. Hope you all have a great and relax week, not like mine :o

It's challenges time again and I finished a card once again for a few challenges:
Midnight Madness Sketch Challenge #36
- Sketch
Paper Cutz Challenge #24 - Summer/beach theme
Cupcake Craft Challenge #73 - Going Girly

This is my finished card and I used an digital image called "Summer" which was illustrated by Michelle Perkett. Since it's called Summer, I tended to use some bright summer color. Orange, Turquoise Blue and Green is what I used for the color combo of my card.

Closer view on this pretty image and I colored it using my favorite Copic markers.

Side view for the card dimension. I've added some mini pearls, metal flower brads and buttons for embellishments. The ribbon and flowers are to cover the emptiness.
