Magnolia Winter Lantern Gift Box

Good morning!!! Before I go on, I wanted to say HAPPY BIRTHDAY to my dearest daughter Jasmine. She is turning 11 years old today.

I am going to post one last Magnolia project before Christmas and hope you enjoy this. I haven't been posting for a few days, but I wasn't stopped crafting. I've been working on quite a few projects. Since December will be my busy month, I am bumping projects like crazy. Basically I go directly to my craftroom right after my full time job everyday. This project is one I made weeks ago, but just never get a chance to post.

If you like this Lantern Gift Box, you can check out my talented blogger friend Norma's Blog for her amazing tutorial. I used two stamps from the Merry Christmas 2010 stamps from Magnolia-licious. The two stamps are Tilda in Winter Light and Tilda in Christmas Coat. They both give a great theme for winter or Christmas project. Since the Tilda in Winter Light has the same type of Lantern, I though it would be fun using it for this project.

I am using this project for the following challenges:
Lexi's Creations Challenge #29 - Glitter & Pearls
Paper Playtime Challenge # 30 - Christmas
CCH#46 The Crazy Challenge - Let it snow
The Pink Elephant Challenge #90 - Winter Wonderland
7 Kids Challenge Fund Challenge #10 - Winter Wonderland
Magnolia Down Under Challenge #77 - A Gift for You
Sundays with Crissy Challenge #12 - Christmas is coming (2nd entry)
Paper Sundaes Challenge #49 - Cut it out
Allsorts Challenge Week 83 - Anything Goes
Stampin for the Weekend Challenge #53 - Christmas
DDCC #93 - Winter
Stampavie and More Challenge #121 - Make a Gift
Ellephantastic Challenge #21 - Wish Upon a Star &/or Christmas/Winter
Bunny Zoe's Crafts Challenge #7 - Sparkle & Shine
Cutie Sunday #123 - Christmas
CES Challenge #17 - Anything Goes

Here is my finished project.

Here is a picture to show you when I put a little battery operate tea light inside, but of course instead of using it as a light, you can also fill this up with candies, chocolates or other goodies.

Mini Tilda Tissue & Christmas Card Set

Happy weekend!! Today I am posting some tissue box and gift sets that I made for my co-workers at work with some Magnolia Mini Stamps. I've finished these cards with the same stamps and style but different colors. The stamps for these cards used were "UNWRAPPED TILDA" and "CHRISTMAS TREE" from MAGNOLIA-LICIOUS. These are minis, but of course you also can get the same stamps in regular size too.

I am using this project for the following challenges:
Stampavie and more Challenge #121 - Make a gift
Pear Tree Designs Challenge #30 - Christmas
Sundays with Crissy #12 - Christmas is coming or Winter is here
Penny's Paper Crafty #44 - Merry Christmas
Creative Card Crew - Anything Goes
Everybody-Art-Challenge #121 - Selfmade present

Here are the finished set. Each tissue box comes in a match card. Originally, I was going to decorate the boxes with more embellishments, but ended up I just don't have the time, so I just gave them away the way they are. You can check out the tutorial of this tissue box cover at Splitcoaststampers.

How fun and this time it's our talented DT member Chrissy's turn to host this challenge. Chrissy would like to challenge you to creation a project with only WHITE background. Here are closer views on the snowflake embellishment. The snowflakes on the left picture are made with plastic from the snowflake garland and I cut off their string and took them in pieces. The snowflakes on the right picture were punched from MS punches and I used two pieces on each snowflake and added stickle on only the top one for contrast.
