Good afternoon to you and happy mid week! Today is Rememberance Day in Canada. Since not needing to work and to get up early, I stayed up quite late last night. I've made a few cards and have a line up posts to be scheduled to post for the next little while. But for today, here is what I made. A card for a few challenges and they are:
Midnight Madness Sketch Challenge #27 - Sketch
Quixotic Challenge #2 - Stitching
A Spoon Full of Sugar #77 - Create a scene
This is the sketch I used:
Here is my finished card. I don't usually use my sewing machine just because it's not working properly. I couldn't use the zigzag stitches which was my original choice and the regular stitches were not good due to the bobbin thread was caught often. Anyhow, I think it's time for a new one which will be on my Christmas list this year. I've used a package of Jolee's stickers to add a little lake scene for Tilda.
Closer view on Tilda's coloring. Since it's a daytime scene, i wanted to use as light I can for her hair. I also added some rhinestones for her necklace and bracelet just for fun.
Closer view on the Jolee's embellies
Another closer view on the embellies
Side view for the dimension
View of the inside
That's all I have for you today. Tomorrow I will have another posting. It will be a card I made using Pixie Dust Studio image and some sneak peek of some new release for Nov 16th. Please stay tune and I will see you again tomorrow. Thank you so much for stopping by :o)
