Magnolia Tilda's altered Valentine Heart Box

Good morning everyone. Today is a great time to share with you another Valentine's altered project. Not 100% sure, but I really think this is the year I made the most Valentine projects. I bought a small plain light wooden box from Michael's the other day. I decided to make an elegant theme Tilda box, so I went to check out some love theme DP from my paper supplies. I found some Anna Griffin DP and thought they would fit my idea. I choose AMOR TILDA from Magnolia-licious to be my stamp this time.

I am using this project for the following challenges:
Crafts and Me Challenge - Red
For Fun Challenge - Heart
Simon Says Stamp Challenge - Anything but a card
A Spoon Full of Sugar #138 - Let's see some love
Everybody-Art-Challenge #128 - Valentine
My Time to Craft Challenge 127 - Hearts & Flowers
Papertake Weekly Challenge - Have a Heart
Magical Monday Challenge 15 - Love
Lollipop Crafts Challenge #25 - Anything but a card
Stamp with Fun Challenge #97 - Love
Wild Orchid Challenge 16 - Love is
All That Scraps Magnolia Challenge #6 - The Queen of Hearts

Here is my finished project. I added a rose from Recollection, some black feather and a little metal embellishment. For the side of this box, I added some pearls and a bow, so that it wouldn't look too empty.

I hope this project will inspire you to try making some altered projects. Thank you for stopping by and hope you will come again :o)

Magnolia-licious Color Challenge - Black, Pink & Red

Hello every and welcome to another Magnolia-Licious Challenge. This month's challenges host is by our sweet DT Tracy. Tracy picked the colors of Black, Pink & Red to be the color combo for our color challenge this time. Remember to join us for the fun everyone just by using these colors to create a project. It can be anything with a Magnolia stamp from a simple card, a scrapbook page, 3D projects, an altered item or anything you can think of.

I've been making so many cards lately, so this time I decided to make an altered project. The project I made for to, day is a paperbag card teabag holder. I used to make a lot of paper bag albums, but kinda given up after I fell in love with cardmaking. The other day, I found some unused paper bags I got years ago, so I thought of making a similar item with it. On this paper bag, I used TILDA WITH BIG RIBBON , WITH ALL MY LOVE sentiment, and LOVE HEART of 2009's Valentine Collection from MAGNOLIA-LICIOUS STORE.

Here is my finished paperbag card/tea bag holder

A closer view on this cute Tilda with Big Ribbon stamp and a closer view of the little hearts embellishments that I bought years ago from Queen & Co.

In case you are wondering what's inside the side pocket, here shows you a couple tag cards, I added to the side for extra writing area or you can adhere some pictures on these tags.

Here is the full view of the inside. I originally made a little tag pocket to hold the tea bag, but it was too wide to fit the pocket, so I have leave the tea bag itself to tuck in instead of putting it in the tag.

Just Magnolia and hAnglar & sTanglar Week 92 - Ribbon
PaperPlay Challenge 11 - Week 5 - Stamp it Out
CCH 53 - Lots of love
Craft Your Passion Challenge #33 - Anything Goes

Stamp with Fun Challenge #97 - Love

I am using this project for some challenges as well, so please scroll down to the bottom of my post for the challenges info. Ok, off to my blog hop project now. I made a card using The Heart Fairy from Paper Makeup Stamps online store. She is a great image for a Valentine's Day card, but I think it also can be used for any card to give other to show your care to them too :o) I cut out the inside part of this heart doily and put a piece of embossed cardstock inside to add a little contrast, so when I put this colored image on top, the red heart wouldn't get blend into the red doily. Since the DP has some floral printed, I decided to add some flowers and flourish on this card for embellishment.

Here is my finished project.

Tilda & Edwin Kissing by the park

Good morning everyone. Today is me and my hubby's 17th wedding anniversary, so I am sharing with you a love theme card. On this card, there are three mini stamps I used. Besides the Shy Tilda and Kissing Edwin Standing, I also used the mini Alota Park and Pond for the background scene. I love this little cute scene and you can purchase these cute stamps from MAGNOLIA-LICIOUS. There are many more fun stamps from the MINI WORLD you can pick from too. First, I used photo paper and paint it with distressing ink, then I used Memento ink to stamp the Alota Park and Pond. After that I added lace trim around the background and added the colored images on top. This is a mini card and size is 4" x 4".

I am using this card for the following challenges:
Charisma Cardz Challenge #4 - Valentines/Love
Stampavie and More Challenge #126 - Love
