Magnolia Holly Tilda Valentines Day Altered Kraft Envelope

Good morning and hope you all had a happy Valentine's Day yesterday. Today I wanted to share an altered project I prepared for work yesterday. Well, last week the social committee of my office planned an event to do something fun for Valentine's Day. We were all given a 9" x 12" business envelope to decorate and to hang it by our cubicles/offices on Valentine's Day for others to put valentines/or goodies into the decorated envelope. Does this bring back some memories on your school days? lol.

I am using this altered envelope for the following challenges:
Little Claire Monthly Challenge #18 - Romance
One Stop Craft Challenge #169 - Hearts and Flowers with Ribbon
Crafty Catz Weekly Challenge #119 - Valentine's
Daring Cardmakers - Pretty hearts & paper doilies
Fairy Tale Challenge #34 - Love, Love, Love
Fussy and Fancy Friday Challenge #56 - With all my heart
Annabelle Stamps Challenge - Red, Black & White
Stampin with the Dragon Challenge #3 - Inspiration from a photo
C.R.A.F.T. Challenge 141 - Valentine's Day
Die Cuttin Divas Challenge #52 - Pick at least 2 colors (black & red)

Here is the pictures of the business envelope before and after when it was decorated. Of course I couldn't resist using one of my Magnolia Tildas to put on this project. I picked Holly Tilda from the Magnolia Sweet Christmas Dream 2011 Collection. Well she is the same this stamp's name, Tilda is holding the holly which has nothing to do with Valentine's, but I decided to alter her. See pictures below to see the altered part.

The left side picture shows you before I alter the stamp image. The right side is the 'after' picture. I cut out the image and adhered a piece of ribbon on top to cover up the holly. I then added heart shape gems on top to tie with the Valentine's theme.

Closer view on the altered hearts garland instead of the original holly

Closer view on some embellishments on this altered envelope.

I've also prepared a bunch of mini jelly belly packs to put into my co-workers' envelopes.

That's all I have to share with you today and thank you for stopping by today and I hope you like this post and somewhat it gives you some inspiration for party favor ideas. See you again soon for more projects sharing :o)

Cabio, I don't doubt that you must have had the best Valentine's bag in your office. Awesome colouring of this adorable Tilda. I had the same idea of altering her holly garland, but never got around to it. Got toooo... many Tilda's that I haven't coloured or coloured only once...sigh. Love that Tim Holtz clock--must get it. Did you have to count out the jelly beans to get the same number in each bag? LOL.
Hugs,
Norma
