Sweetie Tilda on Vintage Couch card for Magnolia-licious' Inspiration Challenge

Hello everyone. Hope you all had a great weekend. I didn't have much time creating last week due to my dad's illness. However, he is getting better, so I had a chance to finished this Magnolia-licious Inspiration Challenge card on the weekend. Our sweet DT member, Paola picked the following photo for this time's inspiration challenge. Remember, you could be a lucky random pick winner of $25.00 gift certificate from Magnolia-licious. All you have to do is to participate the challenge by creating a project using the inspiration photo below. You can click on the Magnolia-licious Inspiration Challenge link above and find out more info.

My card today used Sweetie Tilda from Magnolia-Licious. I sit her on this Vintage Couch. From the inspiration picture, that pair of slippers caught my attention too, so I added a pair of 'white slippers' that I found from a package of Jolee's embellishment. However, the slippers has a title "bride" on it, so what I did was, I colored it pink with a Copic marker, then use the black color to overwrite it with the initial "T" for Tilda. I am also using my card for other challenges, please scroll to the bottom of this post for information.

Here is my finished card from the inspiration photo.

Magnolia Tilda & Edwin Wedding Cake Centerpiece

Good morning and hope you all enjoyed your weekend everyone! Today my sisters will be leaving and going back to the States, so I will be busy working on catching up with some of my 1/2 finished work, lol
Today, I am posting this altered project I made especially for my nephew and his bride to be.
I am so inspired by the super talented fellow designer team-mate Angela's altered cake post 1 and altered cake post 2. What a wonderful idea! I decided to make one for my nephew and his girl friend. They are getting marry this coming September. I confirmed with them on the wedding colors and these colors are blue, brown, grey/silver and white. First, I embossed the pattern paper before wrapping around the cake. The Bridal Couple from Magnolia-licious is a great stamp for me to use on this wedding theme creations. I used this image for so many wedding projects and just never get tired of it. Most of the embellishments on this cake is from Wild Orchid Crafts such as lace trims and flowers. The stacking box for the cake base is from another talented DT of Magnolia-licious Store, Angie Hunt's online store Love To Stamp. I made a little stand to hold the couple up for the cake top by punching out a piece of circle and used a strip of DP/cardstock to fold a triangle shape. Adhered one side of this triangle on the circle, then adhered this Bridal Couple image on the other side of triangle to sit the image on the cake top. That way the cake top can be removed easily and changed to another one if they decided to use more than one cake top (ie. one for daytime and one for night time).

I am also using this creation for the following challenges:
Totally Tilda Challenge #25 - Tilda on anything but a card
Fairy Fun Fridays Challenge #55 - Wedding
CES Challenge #41 - Lots of Sparkly Flowers
Stamp, Scrap & Doodle Saturday - Photo Inspiration

Happy Father's Day Pilot Edwin Cake Card

Happy Father's Day to all the fathers!! Hope you all are having a fun and happy Father's Day. My father is in a nursing home. Since my USA sisters are here joining all my local sibling together, we will be going to my dad's nursing home to bring him special lunch. As this past week I have all my sisters here for a visit, I really didn't have much time doing anything in my craftroom. However, we do enjoy the company. Then I thought, well...Father's Day, I really wanted to do a Father's Day card to post. I actually colored this image and did the cake card base earlier and finally just quickly assembled it together. Because of my lack of time, I really didn't do much details but rather leave it simple. This card is made with Pilot Edwin of the 2010 Bon Voyage Collection I bought from Magnolia-licious a while ago. The Father's Day sentiment is from Stampin Up.

I am also using this card for the following challenges:

Airbrushed Background Summer Night for Beautiful Tilda

Good morning everyone. I hope you can get a chance to play the coloring challenge of pink over at Magnolia-licious Challenge.
Well, I did another Tilda card to post for today. For some reason, I wanted to play with the airbrush with Copics although I had no idea what to use it for. After some thinking, I decided to just spray a background to be used on this card. I took some photo paper, covered a circle, then sprayed a darker background, then took out the BEAUTIFUL TILDA stamp and used it with some bright colors to spray as I wanted it to stand out from that dark background.

I am going to use this card for the following challenges:
Bunny Zoe's Crafts Challenge #13 - Fairies
DDH #8 - Pearls & Lace
KB Cute Monday Challenge - Anything Goes
Stamps with Fun Challenge #115 - Pearls and Flowers
Catch the Bug Challenge - Pearls and Lace
Totally Gorjuss Challenge #84 - Flower Power
Top Tip Tuesday #38 - Open Challenge

Here is my finished card. Dark airbrush background with a bright colored Tilda
