Magnolia Tilda Christmas Advent Calendar Box

Good morning everyone. Today I would like to share a 3D project with you and it is also my first published project. This project appeared on Magnolia Ink Magazine - my favorite magazine. I am so excited and thankful about this :o)

Here is the complete post of my finished project which I've spent over a month to get it completed. It is a Christmas advent calendar box. This project used a regular size Jolly Tilda and four Mini Tilda stamps. The little drawers were cut from Sizzix match box die. I spent a lot of time folding and assembling the drawers together, then the embossing part took quite a bit of time too. I added a shape easel card on top of this box.

View of all the drawers when that is closed.

Here is a closer view and the view of this regular sized Jolly Tilda.

Here are some closer view showing you the four sides of this box.

Here is the view when the top easel is closed.

Thank you for stopping by today and hope to share with you another project soon :o)

Magnolia Tilda Autumn Wall Hanging for Inspiration Challenge

Good morning everyone. Yes, it's already time for the Magnolia-licious Inspiration Challenge and of course it's still hosted by our sweet DT leader Candy. She picked the following inspiration picture to challenge you to create something with it.

Remember if you play along with us, you might be the lucky winner to win a $25.00 gift certificate from Magnolia-licious Store. My project today is not a card, but a wall hanging. It's an "Autumn" wall hanging with Tilda with Horse Halter and a Mini Witch Tilda with Pumpkin.

Here is my finished wall hanging for Autumn. I hand torn the green DP and distressed the edges and laid it on top of another DP.

I am also using this project for the following challenges:
Wags 'n Whiskers Challenge #65 - Fall Colors
Magnolia Down Under Challenge #119 - Get punchy
TOMIC Challenge #21 - Bingo (Metal leaf brads, Black lace trim, Doohickey Die)
Craft Your Days Away Challenge #31 - Halloween Colors
Allsorts Challenge Week 126 - Halloween
If The Shoe Fits Challenge #94 - Fall
Pattie's Creations Design Challenge #31 - Halloween

CCEE Stampers 1142 - Fall/Autumn
Little Red Wagon Challenge #103 - Fall Theme
Deep Ocean Challenge #10 - Fall Colors
2 Sisters Challenge #62 - Pumpkin Patch

Closer view of the images

When I saw the inspiration picture, I wanted to find a similar pattern paper of that checkered coat to use for Tilda's shirt, but unfortunately, I couldn't find one that I like. At the end, I decided to use the similar color scheme Copic markers and hand drawn the linesto create my own checkered pattern on a piece of cardstock. Then I just stamped the image and cut out the shirt to paper piece it on the image. I also colored a very light coat of Primacolor pencil, so it gave the shirt a bit of softer look.

Here are closer pictures to show you the embellishment and the Cricut cut letters.

Here is a view when this wall hanging is up.

Some flat views to show you the dimension of this wall hanging.

Thank you for stopping by and hope you enjoy this project. Have fun creating and hope to see you at the Magnolia-licious Inspiration Challenge :o)

Magnolia Halo Tilda with Silent Night Background Best Friend Card

Good evening/morning everyone. I am finally back from my holiday and how nice to have some Magnolia stamps waiting for me in the mailbox when I got home. I spent an evening colored some of these images. The card today is from one of the images I colored and it from the new Magnolia Sweet Christmas Dream Collection. You can now purchase these stamps from Magnolia-licious. The image I used for today's card is Halo Tilda. I think she looks adorable and I had a great time coloring her. I also used the Magnolia Silent Night Background Stamp to add a music note background on the DP. I also used different distressing inks to ink all the edges both inside and outside.

Here is my finished card

I am using this card for the following challenges:
The Ribbon Reel Challenge #13 - Inspiration photo & flowers
Just Magnolia - Distressing
Polka Doodles Week 41 Challenge - Ribbons & bows
C.R.A.F.T. Challenge #124 - Recipe - 1 ribbon, 2 shapes & some glitter

Stamptacular Sunday Challenge #134 - You choose/anything goes
By the Cute and Girly Challenge - Anything Goes

Here is the sweet Halo Tilda image. I colored her with Copic Markers and then touch up the shadow with Prismacolor Pencils. Added some Stickle on her halo and the wand.

Found this sentiment stamp from a stamp shop in Las Vegas during my holiday and think it will be perfect for this Tilda image.

I stamped the Magnolia Silent Night background image on the DP

I put a lace through the pearl heart buckle

Added some stickle on the flowers
