Michelle Perkett Challenge #1

Well...I finished this card quite late on 27th, but just didn't get a chance to post it until now. This was a digital image freebie from Michelle Perkett's PCP page here:
http://www.papercraftplanet.com/group/michelleperkett

I just noticed the challenge ended on Oct 27th. Oops, missed the deadline. Oh well....at least I got a chance to post it. Here it is. I used the Copic markers and also used some metalic purple smooch to brush her eye shadow and over top the "Happy Halloween" words.

Added some rhinestones on the side

Trying to show you the shiny words with the smooch, but it didn't show too much on the picture.

Closer view on her shiny purple eyeshadow. Again, they didn't look too shiny on the picture.

That's all I have for you on this post. I have another one which will be post sometimes later!

Midnight Madness Mastepiece Yeahhhh

Just a quick post for now. It was great news when I found out that my Halloween Tilda card from my October 23rd's post won the Gold Star Award from the Midnight Madness Sketch Challenge #24. This is the third winning for this card so far and I feel so lucky! (I am still up on cloud 9.)

Sketch Challenge Star Award MMM

I had a great time doing the last Midnight Madness blog hop. Good to know that they are going to have another one coming up from December 8th to 15th. Be sure to check it out and apparently there will be lots of prizes.

If you spread the word and posting the logo below on your side bar, anything can happen. They have a “Midnight Madness Prize Patrol” that will be on the look out for the “Special Midnight Madness Holiday Blog Hop Logo” If one of their team members spots this special logo, your name will go into a special drawing. They will be looking for this MM Holiday Logo from NOW until the Holiday Blog Hop starts.

I made a card using one of Michelle Perkett's freebie digital image which I downloaded from her PCP site. Will post it when I get a chance later.

Meanwhile, don't forget to check out our YNS Challenge blog for the current challenge - A shape card using any image from YNS. Join us to have fun!

Sunday Sketch & Stamp Challenge #14 - YNS Hairy Spidder

Happy weekend to you all. First of all, I am happy to say my Tilda card from the last post made it to the top 3 for the Magnolia Down Under Challenge and also it was lucky enough to be the winner of the One Stop Craft Challenge too. I am SO happy about that. This surely will be my inspiration to make more, LOL!

Today I am posting a card for the Sunday Sketch & Stamp Challenge #14. This week's challenge is sponsored by Your Next Stamp. The image I used is a Halloween digital image from YNS. This digi is Hairy Spiddie and it's limited edition, which will only be available until October 31st. If you want to use them for your projects (not just for Halloween), you still have a few more days to buy it. Of course you always can buy the actual Halloween themed rubber stamps too. You can check out their online store to see more styles.

This fortnight Sunday Sketch & Stamp Challenge is to make your creation using a sketch designed by Ger. Here is the sketch:

Here is my finished card. Isn't this Hairy Spiddie a cutie?

One Halloween card for 13 challenges

TGIF EVERYONE! After visiting some of the creative bloggers' blogs, I have to admire on the Easel cards they posted. I always wanted to try one, but just never got around until last night. I was in a cardmaking mood and once I started, I just was not able to stop. I even found a total of 13 challenges to use this card. Here they are:

(1) Roses On Paper Challenge #23 - Halloween
(2) Cupcake Craft Challenge Week 62 - Things That Go Bump in the Night
(3) Pile It On Chellenge #19 - Ready For Halloween
(4) Stamp with Fun Challenge #29 - Halloween
(5) Midnight Madness Sketch Challenge #24 - MMSC24 Sketch
(6) One Stop Craft Challenge #51 - Halloween
(7) Copic Creations Challenge #14 - Black
(8) The Corrosive Challenge #34 - Spooky Times
(9) My Time To Craft Challenge #82 - Halloween Colors
(10) Creative Inspirations Wendesday Challenge #32 - Halloween
(11) Magnoli-licious Highlites October Sketch - Easel Card
(12) Mangolia Down Under Challenge #24 - Trick or Treat
(13) Everybody -Art-Challenge #62 - Halloween

Here is my finished card. I've used a Magnolia Tilda for Easel this card.

Closer view on her coloring. I've also use my new MS shell scallop punch and use the similar method of my previous card. Cut 2 scallops at a time and adhered them around the oval. I cut 2 pieces of oval and use differnent colors to lay them one on top of another.

Put a little "Boo" metal embellie to add a little more Halloween theme.

Closer view on these flower. Did you notice a little greenish other than the regular stickle? Do you know why? The answer is just because I forgot to wash off the aqua marine shrimmez dirty brush I used last time and then I used it to brush my stickle on the flower. It ended up a better effect on the flower, I actaully was quite happy about that result, lol.

Here is the view on the opened card

YNS Challenge #2 - Bubbly Fun Fhiona

Happy mid week everyone. For those of you who doesn't want to go to work, don't worry, you only have another 1/2 week to go until TGIF! Meanwhile, let's have some fun joining us for another challenge. Remember that there are some cute limited edition Halloween digis that are still available until October 31st and of course you can use any other YNS images .

This is the time for our #2 YNS challenge. The challenge is to host by another talented Starlet - Lana and she would like us to make a "Shape" card. Any shape other than the regular rectangle or square size card will do. I used MS circle cutter to cut out this shape card. The stamp set I used on this card is called "Bubbly Fun Fhiona".

Here is a closer view to see the duckling came with this set. I've stamped a few to fill up the edges.

Closer view on Fhiona. She seems pretty relaxing.

Thanks for dropping by today. I encourage you to visit the YNS Challenge blog to check out the other Starlets' wonderful cards for inspiration!

That's all for today's post. I've made so many cards for the last few days and they were to be lined up to post. Please stay tune and I will see you soon!

Color Copic Challenge #36 - Guest DT card

Good Day to you all. Time goes by so fast. Months ago, I applied for a Guest DT for the Color Copic Challenge and it was determined all the participants would be the Guest Designer for the next while. This week, it's my turn to participate this Color Copic Challenge #36 as one of the Guest Designers.

The requirment for this week's challenge is Adele's choice of using Copic Markers #G99, V17 & YR68. Come and join us for this fun challenge even you have only one of these colors or color that close to.

Here is my finished card. I used the new Tilda stamp I bought weeks ago and just never got around to use it. I've also added some pretty flower (the orange flower and ribbon that wrapped around the paper strips are from my wonderful friend Suzan.)

MMSC23, Midnight Madness Sketch Challenge - Another Tilda Card

Happy Thursday! I finished a card for the Midnight Madness Sketch Challenge #23. They also have a blog hop on Octber 16/09, so be sure to check this link to start joining the fun. There are tons of prizes for this blog hop, so don't miss it.

Here is the sketch for this week's challenge:

Here is my finished card using Magnolia Tilda image. I've used the two Martha Stewart Punches and cute them into pieces and assembled them to create this frame for the image. I also punch out the flowers from a piece of My Mind's Eye pattern paper and glued them on the side. The ribbon trim on the left side here was white, but I painted it with the Aqua Marine shimmerz to match up the cardstock color. I also hand-folded the flower using my left over pattern paper from previous card for the lower bottom right.

Closer view for the side flowers and added some baubles.
