Friday Sketch #67, Just Magnolia Week #20, The Pink Elephant #30

Hello everyone, I hope you all had a great weekend. I do.

Oh, I am thrilled and honoured to find that I was one of five selected to receive a "Remarkables award" from the Midnight Madness Challenge #16. Wow, what a suprise to find this especially when I didn't expect I would win anything. I felt honorable of getting it. Thank you so much for the challenge and I enjoy playing it everytime.

I had a day off from work today, so how could I resist doing some cards?? Today, I made two cards. My first card was finished for 3 challenges and the second card (Please scroll down for that) I made for fun.

The three challenges are for:
Friday Sketcher #67 - I used it's sketch

Just Magnolia Weekly Challenge #20
- Ribbons & bows

The Pink Elephant Challenge #30
- 1 Ribbon, 2 Squares and something that sparkles

Friday Sketcher's sketch this week:

Here is my finished card:

Closer view on the image. Did you notice the bunny's cheek has a little spot? When I took my copic marker for a touch up on Tilda's shirt, it slipped off my hand and landed on my poor bunny's face :o( Yikes.....I tried to use the colorless copic to clean it a little and then touch up again with the "E21" and "R11" to cover the spot.

I bought some bulk buttons the other day and used them for this card.

Here is the bow top with a little button

Here is a post for my second card. I made it for fun.
I got this image from my friend who said she doesn't know what to do with it. I never tried to make any card with this kind of stamps before, so I thought maybe I would try to paint it with my Copic markers and see how it would turn out. After I painted this with my Copic markers, I felt this image was pretty impressive. Since this image is so pretty, I thought I would just do the rest of my background as plain as I could, so that the focus would be on the picture itself!

I just tied a bow and added a "family" charm

MMSC #16, Copic Creations Challenge #10, ROP#19

TGIF everyone!

I just received the envelope template in the mail from Priscilla (Click her name for details if you want to get one). Since I am doing a card using the sketch from the Midnight Madness Challenge #16 , also using the requirments from the Copic Creations Challenge #10, and Roses On Paper #19. I decided to just to make an envelope to match up with this card.

Here is th Midnight Madness Challenge #16 sketch:

The current Copic Creations Challenge #10's requirements is "Red, Pink & Heart".

The current Roses On Paper #19 requirement is incorporate the use of punches in a Sketch Challenge of your choice!

Here is the picture to show you my finish set (a card with a matching envelope)

This is the card I finished with the colors Red & Pink and I added a heart charm and a heart shape brad on the crochet flower. This crochet flower and the heart charm are from my friend Angela Wood (thank you Angela!). This crochet flower's original color was peach, but I really wanted to use it for this card, so I dyed it to redish pink.

See, I put two drops of Stampin Up ink refill, added water and put the flower to soak for a minute or two (because I don't want it to be too dark, if you want to dye in a darker color, add more ink and soak for a longer time).

Here is a closer view on the image coloring:

I added some stickle on the three Prima flowers to make them glow a bit.

Here is my dyed color crochet flower and I added a heart brad in the middle and tied a heart charm (see lower picture) on the ribbon to match the requirement of the Copic Creations challenge.

Here is my finished envelope front for this thick card.

This is the back of the envelope and I added a lace trim border with a little heart to complete this set!

These are all the Copic markers I used for this card.

Anymore??.......sorry, no more. Will have to wait until my spare time to post work on more projects. If I am not posting for the next couple days, please do have yourself a wonderful weekend!

Magnolia-licious Highlites, Kellie's Sketch Challenge #2

Good evening everyone. Today I have lots of pictures to show you for the two challenges. The two challenges are for Magnolia-licious Highlites Tricks-n-Treats DT Blog Hop and Kellie's Sketch #2

Here is the sketch for Kellie's sketch for current challenge:

I choose Kellie's sketch also for part of my entry for Magnolia-licious Highlites' challenge as well.

Here is the picture for my full set. A card, a candy treat bag and a matching box of tags.

Here is the card I made using Magnolia Tilda, Prima flower, K & Co Halloween rhinestones, a stamp by Hero Art for the candy corn, Martha Stewart adhesive ribbon, cardstock by Stampin Up and DP by K & Co.

I just love this stack of DP. Since the DP is so cheerful and fun, I wanted to make it more toward the fun side rather than making it too scary. Instead of keeping Tilda's spider holding by her hand, I cut it out and altered a "BOO" sign for her to hold.
When I tried to think of a pole for Tilda to hold this "BOO" word, I couldn't find any cute poles. So what I did was that I got the Magnolia Fence background and cut out only one piece of the wood from the fence image and used it as her pole.

Closer view of Tilda and the upside down "Magnolia Fence" pole.

Here is the inside of the card:

Here is the treat bag (The front). I used an orange envelope and my Scor-Pal to score 1/2" each of the three sides of the envelope (two side edges and the bottom edge) to form this bag. The spider and the web were from my left over Jolee's sticker embellishments from last time.

"Back" side of the treat bag:

Here is the Matchbox. I made some tags to put in it. The image on these tags was the Surfer Edwin from the Lazy Summer Day series.

This set took me a really long time to do, but I am happy with the result! I hope you enjoy the pictures I posted today and hope I will create more papercraft to post in the next few days.

Thank you for stopping by today and see you soon!

Today, I am posting a card for the Midnight Madness Sketch Challenge for Week #15. Here is the sketch for this week's challenge:

Since I just bought this image from Diana at Magnolia-licious, (thank you Diana!), I am using it for this week's challenge (altered it a little) and make it a Halloween theme. I twisted the purple & green ribbons and make them into one piece and insert it to each the left & right sides.

Here is a closer view for Tilda.
